As founder of Glamour Pusses, Prue Bartels carries the most responsibility and is in the unique position of “seeing the big picture”. Whilst Prue makes the final decision on all matters of importance, she encourages input from team members and values their opinions.

Each team member has various responsibilities depending on their abilities and availability.  Some are shared. The more experience and confidence a team member gains, the more responsibility they will be given.

The following is a broad summary of team responsibilities:

• Planning fundraising programs
• Sourcing prizes
• Liaising with sponsors
• Providing admin support
• Creating promotional materials
• Managing raffle book distribution
• Selling raffle tickets
• Planning events
• Distributing event flyers
• Arranging free advertising of events
• Promoting events
• Managing sponsor displays (if appropriate)
• Providing logistical support at events
• Maintaining MailChimp database
• Maintaining Glamour Pusses website
• Managing Glamour Pusses FB page
• Managing financials
• Attending regular team meetings

The ideal team member will have the following characteristics:

• Passion for animal welfare
• Reliable and committed
• Basic Facebook and email skills
• Good communication and organisational skills
• Initiative and drive
• Positive “can do” attitude
• Other skills and ideas to contribute
• Ability to work in a team
• Good sense of humour

Team members mostly communicate via our Facebook Group which is open only to active members.  It is important to check in regularly as we are continually posting updates and information.
